A chef and ceramicist based in Dublin Ireland. My journey has always been about craft, precision, and finding connection.

As a chef, I’m used to the rush. As a ceramicist, I've learned the necessity of the pause. Crafting is a slow process that can't be rushed—days of drying, meticulous trimming, and long, slow firings. This discipline has taught me to champion slowing down and to practice sustainable techniques that ensure I waste nothing and that the final piece is built to last.

I initially found clay for the creation, but I stayed for the community. I work in a shared studio space, a vibe that mirrors the constant buzz and collaborative energy of a professional kitchen. This shared environment is where ideas are exchanged, processes are refined, and the connection to other makers keeps the craft fresh and energetic.

I'm drawn to the challenge of throwing big. Pushing clay to its maximum height and width is very exciting, which is why large vessels and decorative statement pieces are the core of my practice.

For me, ceramics are a tool for connection. Whether I'm crafting functional tableware designed to elevate a meal, or pushing the boundaries with a large-scale decorative ornament, the goal is the same: to create pieces that bring people together.

My greatest reward is knowing my pieces now connect me to even more people—the collectors and homeowners who find joy in them. It's about moving from my hands to your home and being a small part of your daily ritual, your gathering, and your happy space.
